Nghiên cứu 39 trường hợp gãy kín xương gót phạm khớp (trên 33 bệnh nhân), điều trị phẫu thuật mở qua đường vào bên ngoài, kết hợp xương bên trong bằng nẹp khóa xương gót, thời gian theo dõi từ 12 tháng đến 52 tháng.
Kết quả: Liền sẹo ở tất cả các trường hợp, không có hoại tử, nhiễm khuẩn, tổn thương nhánh thần kinh cảm giác cẳng - bàn chân. Thời gian bệnh nhân trở lại hoạt động thường ngày trung bình 4,8 ± 1,4 tháng. Kết quả chung: 15 ca tốt (45,5%), 11 ca khá (33,3%), 5 ca trung bình (15,2%), 2 ca kém (6%).
